Ethanol plants and biodiesel plants are keeping the corn and bean crop going. Plants pay for the stuff.

Wheat, sounds like the biggest value is straw for farmers, or a field to spread manure. Not gonna get a lot of $ for that!

Having said all of that, my guess is if the 45z rules ever get released and ethanol plants share the tax credit, low CI corn is going to have a good value. And a great way to lower the CI is to have a cover crop out there. And wheat is a good cover crop.
