Thanks and yes I have. So.....if more than 2/3 is held by Domestic holders, how or when would THEY call the debt? China could, but not majority according to chart, but I assume $765 Billion would still make things a little sticky.



I think it is a "if people lose faith and quit buying" type of deal or depending on how the foreign debt is, if they call it and the treasurey puts out a call for buyers for more to move the debt, and they can't get it all sold, then I think that is the issue.

However the interest is more of the worry than the possibility of it being called, we aren't terribly far off of spending more on the interest than the principal.
