The farm yard my son lives on has the rural water line running through the property. The previous owner had just drilled a new well in 1984 so when the sign up was on in 1988, he declined. It was $300 to hook up then. Now it is $10,000.
The neighbor across the road drilled a totally new well in 2014. Hook up was about $8500 then. Now 2 years ago he paid the $10,000 because his water quality from the well was poor and needed treatment. | |
