Subject: PLAINS WEATHER

for the last several days the 6-10 & 8-14 maps have shown above to much above precip in the rio Grande Valley.....I'm sure our TX friends will concur that that has not happened. Today those maps are showing above precip across the plains states. Both 6-10 & 8-14. My point being ....Nat Weather service has hit the heat forecast, but I'm beginning to have strong doubts about the above precip projection ???? It may be a damn long spring if we miss this precip. Have to imagine plenty of wheat out there beyond help at this point.
