What I can’t wrap my mind around, why are we letting Iranian ships, and ships carrying Iranian cargoes go? They’re essentially holding 25% of the world’s shipping hostage, but we’re letting them out? Kinda hard to apply much economic pressure when they’re still allowed to ship goods out.
All I heard was that they were letting them go to “help oil supply issues”. I’m betting they’d be a lot more amenable to working towards a solution if their trade was cut off as well. | |
