North Central Indiana | To say it’s “Becks” idea was probably a bit over the top. I heard it at a Beck’s meeting. I’ll look for the chart, but basically the premise is there’s no return to fertilizer over a certain ppm level on soil tests. Which makes sense. But they had numbers attached instead of just “the roi gets lower the more you apply.” Most of our fields are at the levels they mentioned did not need more P or K. We would like to see what no P and K over a longer term does to the levels in a few fields on our farm. | |
