When I was younger going out to eat (even McDonalds) was a privilege, not something we got to do very often. Now people do that multiple times a week but complain about the price? Our standards are multiples higher now than 20 years ago in nearly every aspect.
Bingo! When i was a kid eating out meant we sat at the picnic table in the backyard not the kitchen table.
