Compare it to buying the raw ingredients to make the cheeseburger.
That would be the accurate comparison. Soybeans are a raw commodity as is all of the ingredients to make a cheeseburger.
Then when you decide that beef is too expensive compared to soybeans I’d encourage you to seed some of your soybean field to grass and buy some cows to grow your own beef.
