S Illinois | We do but imports aren’t America First aka the US is losing with trade deficits. The absolute fastest thing that could be done is to lift the phosphate import duties on Morocco and Canada import tariffs for Potash.
AA is a little more fungible as NG is still cheap in places like the Middle East and Caribbean which means cheap AA.
Edit: It’s also a world market. As world/US fertilizer price spread rises, US producers will export their fertilizer if it provides a better return.
