northwest indiana | Totally irrelevant to marketing as the world has changed since the mid 60’s. Your post goes back to hoping for parity. Not going to happen any time soon! I remembered when my Dad fed a family of 7 for less than 3 dollars, Each of us got a 15 cent hamburger, 12 cent fries and ten cent coke for grand total of 37 cents each. Don’t know what a bushel of soybean sold for then but guessing a bushel bought all or most of the entire family’s meal! Part of difference is no frills or do you want that supersized .
