East Central SD | 48x10 is probably close to being economically efficient for you. Would be 60k but if your corn is wet you would probably only use about 40k safely with decent air capacity.
As you understand filling cost can be large. With your bushels you could easily look at a used auger.
Use the govt loan.
Your age and succession should be a factor in your decision. If you're young or know you have kids that will farm be aggressive. If not be more conservative as marketability of a grain site probably isn't awesome. | |
