Well maybe if you were a good farmer instead of po farmer it would be different. I know 3 young men who are currently or have purchased a farm in the last year.


Better dig up Paul Harvey and have him tell the rest of the story.

It took me 23 crops to finally get to the point of buying land, there’s a lot of expenses getting started that those who did have some help seem to forget. Throw in some droughts and a big hailstorm and now you’ve got some old debt refi’s holding you back too.

That’s not everyone’s story, but it’s mine. So if someone wants to claim that a 26 year old is taking on 6-7 figures of land debt without some backing of labor, machinery or infrastructure don’t mind me being a skeptic.
