If and when the manufacturing for the stuff that is currently made in China is shifted to other countries in southeast Asia and central America, China shrinks to a much smaller relevance in the world.
Very good point, but factories to make those parts just don’t appear overnight. This upcoming war is not going to end well for us, we are way too dependent on other countries for parts. Also, It’s not like WW2 where our existing factories could be converted in a short period of time to help with the war effort, now there are hardly any factories here compared to then. |
