Yes, by all means spray now at green up to prevent them from setting seed for next Fall. That is what other posters have missed in their advice.

The majority of winter annuals set seed later in spring so normal burndown timing or tillage will stop seed set. The more ornery/persistent ones like chickweed flower and set seed very quickly in spring so if you can get after them you will reduce what emerges this coming Fall. Couple years of spraying and you will have taken care of problem weeds.
