SW Ohio | I'm not covering many acres and primarily farm by myself in the evenings after work so in the spring i've been running the same mix on everything. Primarily all no-till, and everything gets a dedicated corn or bean post-spray. Last 2 years its been a quart of gly, pint of 2,4-D, and i believe i was using a pint of generic Dual. Corn i shoot for a 2 week pre-plant interval, and beans were similar but last year due to rain i ended up spraying the day after planting and had no issues that i saw.
Overall it seems to be an effective program for me and keeps things simple. Any recommendations on things i should change or try different? If theres one thing i'd like to improve on its the planting interval for corn, it would be nice to be able to spray a couple days ahead of corn or behind the planter. | |
