Musta changed the rules on the “one year ownership”rule? Curious where this land is located? With todays interest rates it be mighty hard to get CRP to pay for it. Would you mind sharing the math?
I am also curious about the one year ownership rule. That still holds true last i checked. CRP doesn't have to pay for the land. Just like some people buy boats, side by sides and travel trailers for recreational purposes other people buy land for recreational purposes. It only has to make financial sense to the person writing the check not to those on the outside looking in.
Kudos to Kornkrush for putting this land in to CRP. I love seeing land converted back to the way it once was. Anything we can do to provide more habitat for wildlife and protect the environment makes for a good day.
