Consistent $100 oil would really get the Permian and Bakken churning.

Get the Davis refinery or the Meridian pipeline in and you'd be there at a lower price.

The boom of the Bakken is over and done, mostly due to the fact they are running out of well spacings.

The Three Forks layer, however, holds immense promise. The handful of wells they have drilled there rival an Arabian well, thousands of free flowing barrels a day for a decade, but their cost is higher than a Bakken well.

A WHOLE Decade eh?

Then what?  Go drill Greenland?

SW Corn basis is about a $1.50 LOWER than it was a couple years ago.. Neighbor said (first liar doesn’t stand a chance..) his dryland corn did 190 bu last year.. West of Dodge.. we’ll be loading shuttles for the rest of the summer..

ugly.

After a decade you put a horse head pump on it and pump it for the next century or so, or refrack it and see if it will free flow again. There are still vertical wells from the 1950s going strong here, 70 years of continuous production.

I don't think you realize how fast a handful of 6,000 barrel a day, barrels of oil, not total production, wells would add up.
