That`s why if we got serious, put an export ban on US oil

You say this as if the USA owns that oil. Last time I checked, there were some oil companies that owned the leases on those rights…..

Lot of people forget that small detail.

My family and I happen to own all the mineral rights on land we own. I'd feel better if whatever that inventory may be doesn't get lumped into anything resembling "our" oil discussions. As modest as that inventory may be.

"Well, yeah but...We" have all this oil on Government owned land. Sounds comforting- except someone holds those leases on a bunch of it. Not "we". Someone else.

Data centers and solar and wind farms have gotten many communities picking sides and demanding it all be put to a stop. OK, I'm listening. Right up until some well to do transplant from a metro area somewhere moves into farm country and then adopts the war cry that we have to preserve "our" farmland. Apparently not only have "we" taken ownership of "our" oil, we also have somehow wrangled the deed to include "our" farm land. And it just don't work that way.
