I milked cows for 20+ years and never hired a hoop trimmer, on a few RARE occasions I trimmed a couple long toes, When I sold the cows there was not a poor foot in the herd and some very old cows. IMO anyone that trims feet on a beef cow needs to rexamine what they are doing, something is not at all right.
