Joe Kent previoulsy portrayed Iran as a real and ongoing threat and warned against allowing it to expand its influence across the region.
After the U.S. strike that killed Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, commander of the elite Quds Force, Kent urged the administration to "wipe Iran’s ballistic capability out,"
In 2024 he began to soften his stance on confronting Iran or their proxies and IMO, he came to beleive that Israel was controlling our government to some degree.
Thankfully there are many other personnel and intelligence agencies that are wise os to what Iran's intentions and capabilities truely are.
Irans actions and rhetoric during the last 47 years clearly states their long term objectives.
