Probably beneficial to Iran. When Trump negotiated with to force OPEC to cut production in 2020, US oil producers were hurting from demand loss and the Russia/Saudi oil supply fight. So to help US oil producers from going under Trump bargained with Saudi Arabia to cut large supplies from the global markets. Likely benefited Iran as an oil producer also.
