If troops are sent, even if they aren`t technically on Iranian soil they are in harms way. God forbid their ship is hit and 50 soldiers are killed, then it becomes a "revenge war" money pit. I mean those are the stakes, even if things go textbook here on out, it`s hard to see any countries or the Democrats giving a "Atta boy!" . If the end game is everything on the table including turning Iran into a plate of glass, that`s one thing, I doubt that`s a winning political message. As long as the Dems didn`t fire the first shot, they are probably okay with an escalating war, and "president jb pricksker" will gladly continue it 2029 into 2033. In the Iranian mountains drones, missiles and enriched bad stuff can be hidden for years and that country is Shia Muslims Kool aid drinkers. | |
