When could you have beat December futures at 4.90 bigly? The last 18 months of the december '25 corn contract traded from 4.34 to trading above 4.6 for maybe 15 days reaching 3 days over 4.7. Then going off the board at 4.30. Where and when could you have beat 4.90 futures bigly by selling ahead on the last 2 december contracts?
Given that you intentionally limited your “search” to the part of the 2025 contract life that wasn’t over 4.90 and ignored dec2024 corn entirely, I’m just going to assume that you already know when both could have been sold over $5.
