S Illinois | I have to say thats an interesting setup and one I am unfamiliar with so I will just comment on the futures. So if you’re happy with the arrangement I would say definitely a good spot to start on some sales as $5 Dec corn has been hard to come by since 2023.
May I ask how do you handle crop insurance in that situation? If you would produce say 50 bu, do you share some of the payment with the elevator or is the elevator on their own? | |
