Been there with a family situation 10 years ago. Sucks sleeping next to a loaded gun with kids in the next 2 rooms. Problem is they have NOTHING to lose other than their life, so they don’t care or fear consequences. Mine ended when I flat out told them if my wife/kids are in danger you’re dead - they told me later they knew I would think nothing of it if that’s what it took. Your situation is a lot different. Prayer helps - our pastors wife was a meth cook and they literally prayed to demons when they make it - so there is a spiritual aspect to it if you believe in that. You don’t say if you’re rural or in town - if you’re rural I’d set some targets up as get real acquainted with my firearms - leave the evidence behind. Also a PI wouldn’t be bad, or a security specialist. I agree the person probably has some tie in to spy on your relative- she should probably change all her accounts and secure everything. This is one of those situations where 100 years ago things woulda been a lot different than they are today.

Also since I’ve been there before - it is easy to let your mind wander- the dog barking at night would cost me 3-4 hrs of sleep - and sometimes that’s what they want - to torment you. So you need to be protective but don’t let yourself get paranoid.
