Subject: what pop corn for large kernels

East central Iowa

I've tried a couple of different pop corns, white and yellow.  The white popped little and the yellow wasn't big but was chewy.

When I looked online two brands were often mentioned, Bobs Red Mill and Amish Country, but reviews weren't very consistent and a lot of them complained about size, taste and texture.

I haven't looked yet but I did see YouTube video's that suggested how you pop the corn could affect it's size.  I have been putting in in a sauce pan with a little oil and shaking it on top of the stove.  I haven't had any significant hulls and I don't burn it but it never pops nice and big.
