| The market does not have to make sense. It is flooded with paper traders that are there to do 1 thing and that is to make money. With the use of computer algorithms watch out because it can get nasty. I advise to know when to use this to your advantage and when to stay the heck out of the way when it doesn't, and don't worry about the rest. Know your cost of production, do your best to sell at profitable levels and let the chips fall where they may. I sold a good chunk of my beans -$2 ago, sucks but it is what it is.
I just got in from checking calving cows in -5 degree weather and thankful for the opportunity. I used to let just about everything bother me and that was terrible for my health and it started to affect me. So, I decided that it was more important for me to be here for my kids than to worry about losing a little money on a trade or the cost of a part that cost way too much money. Big picture approach. Am I perfect at it, heck no, still get worked up over some things, I'm human, but it's been much better. | |
