Strathcona, mn | Not 100% correct. I had purchased a parcel in Minnesota that was involved in this same situation. It was a land locked 200 acres that had no legal access. None was granted by adjoining land owners. The previous owner hired legal council and found statue that over 40 acres in Minnesota without legal access you can for the township to get you access which involves a public road on a parcel line. When they sent letters to all adjoining land owners Tabatha they were going to force a public road to get built one landowner finally conceited to sell a 33’x1320’ 1 acre parcel into my property thus not having to allow a public road to be built.
Now on this topic I’d tell them a very stern NO. No access granted, find your own way onto your property, not my problem. You gave them an option that was easy and amicable for both parties and they didn’t agree to it. It is not your responsibility to help them with their own problem.
