Iowa | 100% agree. Our society is so cutthroat that it’s very hard to get ahead if you’re even remotely nice. I have multiple 1099 relationships with companies- what used to be a give/take relationships have turned into 100% bend over. I’ve gotten to the point I hold up my end of the contract and nothing extra. As leadership transitions to younger people they have zero issues trying to force others to do what they want.
You need to get your ducks in a in a row as I can see the farm mgr company trying to force access through some sort of adverse possession. Legally you should get a contract with compensation. | |
