Western Oregon | Wife and I love winter storms, we go to the coast here during storms. We did use Rock wool insulation in the bedrooms to cut down on noise. Also used interior walls for bedrooms as much as we could. Bathrooms are on outside walls and kitchen, dining, living rooms all along the front. Also used 2"x6" interior walls for more insulation, more sound deadening. Storm winds here come from the SW so bedrooms are more toward the north side of house, Works well with southern exposure in living areas for more heat sink to store the sun's heat....James | |
