| I’ve been running a Promarksvac chamber vacuum sealer in my shop for a while now and honestly it’s been a solid machine.
What I like about it compared to the typical external vacuum sealers is the consistency. With the chamber system you can seal liquids, marinades, soups, or wet meat without the mess. The machine pulls a vacuum in the chamber first and then seals the bag, so you don’t get liquid getting sucked into the seal area.
Mine has the Busch oil pump and stainless-steel construction, so it’s built pretty heavy duty. The seal is strong every time and the bags are way cheaper than the textured bags you need with edge sealers. Over time that alone saves quite a bit of money.
I mainly use it for:
Processing deer and beef in bulk
Sealing fish and wild game
Portioning meat for the freezer
Marinating cuts quickly
One thing I noticed is the speed and repeatability. Once you dial in the vacuum and seal time, you can run batch after batch without babysitting it.
If anyone here is doing regular meat processing or large batches, a chamber sealer like the Promarksvac units is definitely worth looking into. They’re more expensive up front, but they’re built like commercial equipment and hold up much better than the consumer machines.
Curious what other brands people here are running and how they compare long term. |
