This computer trading algorithm bull needs to be investigated. Limit down right now on soybeans. All because of a comment/tweet?

There seems to be little fundamental reasoning with regard to price movements lately, just speculation as to what may or may not happen on future non events, and we are left holding the bag.

Guess we just need to follow money flows.

This price movement is going to make a lot of farmers panic sell their crop, and then the funds/traders will ride it higher once we puke out.

Marketing is hard enough on its own merit, trying to have to deal with some many things that are outside our control and now we have to add in idiotic comments and tweets? You wonder why farmer suicides are so high, well today is a good example of things making your head spin for no reason and costing yourself an obscene amount of lost potential. Those that sold off the combine were wrong last week. After today, they don't look to be that wrong anymore.

So frustrated right now. Our paychecks/profits are so volatile and seemingly so far out of control at times. I am all about eliminating as much risk as possible, but it just feels like we keep getting kicked in the teeth and nuts at every turn (inputs, marketing, weather, production).

Keep your chin up fellas. Live to fight another day.

I couldn’t agree more with ya man , we had a suicide and a different farm bankruptcy happen in our area last week , I know both guys ,three really late model cotton pickers on the bankruptcy
