| I grew up in Illinois, but I’ve lived in coastal South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, the desert, visited tropical regions, been through a couple of big hurricanes and a couple of minor tornadoes.
I now live in CA (Crazy America) where people lose it over a couple of lightning flashes. A big wind has been called a tornado.
I have been through some big fires here and it is interesting how some people are completely freaked out over any fire and there are people absolutely oblivious to the risk of fire.
I have worked on many large fires and I am fascinated by them just as I am storms. I enjoyed going to the lake shore at night as a storm passed out across it. These things are simply beautiful to me. I do not understand how others cannot appreciate the beauty of our world. | |
