I don't know what the fascination with variable speed pumps is for this. There are plenty of quality pumps that will last just fine like this, though variable speed would work also, just not needed, and not the issue here.
I priced a variable speed 30 gpm pump for my barn in 2023. It was $6000 more than a regular 30gpm pump. And they were worried about the VFD interfering with my cow identification system and my cow health monitoring systems which both use wireless transmitters.
I went with the standard pump and have had no issues. |
