To some extent I'd agree. If they are going to ref a tight game, keep your hands off of people and dribble. If they aren't, go full blown NBA. A lack of consistency across refs is the problem.

The lack of consistency of the calls from individual refs in a game is a huge problem.
If it’s a foul at one end of the floor it’s a foul at the other end also. If it’s a foul in the first minute of the game, it’s a foul in the last minute of the game.
