As society becomes more and more sterile with safety precautions in place for every possible danger, people's assessment of actual risk is way out of wack. Admittedly, my risk tolerance is likely too high, but I don't lose my mind in an emergency either.
Im the same way , not hardly scared of much .
My wife does not get too worried about storms either .
She did a few years at TCJC as a counciler .
she has about seem it all and heard it all .
She has been in riots , guy tried to stab her .
Her mother and dad both retired from prison system . Wife
got about all she wanted in a couple years . |
