Oh yes, the Bomb cyclone. We still had corn out that spring. Roads got really soft after that. Otherwise we faired pretty well. That actually added enough subsoil moisture it made a difference on our crops for the next year or two.
Had a sprinkle overnight. Humidity finally got up to 60%. If that could stay up it would help but 30-60 mph winds are going to dry things out. Forecast is for the humidity to get down to 30 by evening so that won’t be quite so bad. High for the day is only 35. Keeping our fingers crossed. We just don’t need anything to get started today.
