| My Dad and my Uncle use to farm together and they were both schooled welders. Well, they parted company and my Uncle started a welding shop. My Dad used to help him out occasionally, and there were usually a couple guys that hung around the shop. One day my Dad welded his brother's vice shut, and the guys said "He didn't even smile".
My brothers's kids really got him good many years ago. He had a 1954 Chevy Bel Aire waiting to be restored, sat near his hog houses for years. The boys decided to hook up a battery charger/booster to it. They waited till dark and my brother was carrying a couple 5 gallon pails of water, and the boys turned on the lights. It stopped him in his tracks. Then they honked the horn and he took off for the house, buckets and all, and the boys said he was moving pretty fast. | |
