I know I will ruffle some feathers with this but y’all need to try and make a trip down south where irrigation is prevalent. There are zero part time farmers from sikeston Missouri to the gulf coast…

I’m sure someone will chime in that they farm 200 dry land acres WILL CHIME IN BUT 99.9% of the profit in the south is made by full time irrigated farmers. Reminds me of an economics professor complaining about the 5-10 cow cow-calf guys screwing up the market for write offs to pay for their acreage in the 90’s…
