South Central NE | Yes most of it is grassland but not all. And yes, you are right, it will come back fast but only after it rains. This is not IA. This is the Great Plains where rains are sometimes sparse. The financial costs of these situations are enormous and the life disruptions are very costly as well. Most of NE is in a very dry situation right now.
