Central IA | Thank you all for replies.
We been fortunate that we have not had foot issues. Just a few seem to get long in the hoof. We rotational graze all spring summer and fall. And as long in winter as we can keep stockpile.
Bale ripe oats as winter feed with dry hay when we need. Just want a bud box/ shute to give CDT and if they need any other care. Figured if getting Shute system, get a spin shute too,if hoof trimming is required.
Have not done a foot bath, seen the pics of trays. Is that some work to get them to go through. We have a small stream that trickles through our pasture. When it rains and it 2-3 feet across. Those sheep seem very, and I mean VERY, reluctant to cross.
