scmn | My guess is if they put a 6.6 in a 1500 that it will not be the L8T. Additionally the 1500s tend to align more with the displacement of the Corvette; l2T was 6.2L in Corvette while 1500s used the L86 and later L87 for 6.2L. ASince RPO LS6 is supposedly a 6.7L I would expect 6.7L I. The 1500s rather than 6.6L. Either way it does not matter because they will use the RPO to distinguish them.
FWIW LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, LGH, LML, LWN, L5P, L5D are are 6.6L diesel and are differentiated by their RPO code. The only one I am aware of with differences in L5P which has gen 1 and gen 2 (2024+) | |
