IDK, how long the seller had that combine and heads together but those little heads are definitely an advantage for less wear/hour on that size of combine.      In anything less than 250 bpa corn and 75 bpa beans you couldn't hardly drive fast enough to work that combine hard with those heads.  Less material going through the combine = less wear.      5 mph with those heads and yields would have flow rates of 3000 and 1100 bph, neither of which is pushing that size of combine very hard.



This is very true.   If a bunch of hours on it were being used like a glorified 2366, by somebody who didn't spend all day yelling on the radio for his grain carts and trucks to go faster, then the "excessive wear" concerns about a flagship combine are kinda nonexistent.
