Maybe that is why the chief just resigned, was asked the question at time of stepping down and said that was a question for another time, at least they could have apologized to the women.
The Fargo police chief has been a joke for quite a while. Remember how the department fell apart when he was on vacation because he ordered them not to do anything?

Two murders and a bank robbery and "no threat to the public" almost a day later before any type of press release or conference when, whoops, we don't have anyone in custody, yet are sending out alerts about sheltering in place, fugitives on the loose, and all clears all at the same time. Then during the conference he basically tells the press, and city commission, to mind their business.
The mayor isn't much better. Fargo is pretty quickly heading down hill. | |
