Southeast Washington | For farm work the diesel price is a lot less than gas. Gas here is bought at the pump because of short shelf life. On road diesel can be bought in bigger bulk amounts. Ours is part is a transport load containing both on road and off road diesel. That makes it over a dollar a gallon cheaper than gas for the on road diesel. That is why our area is 95 percent diesel because of a long diesel presence in the area and trade values are relative trading difference for like burning engines so not really an extra expense. | |
