| We bought a red top 8010 with high hours a couple years ago at a sale. We’ve put a lot of wear parts into it since then but you’ll have that with any machine. We came from a 1666. Huge jump and I’m glad we made it. It made harvest a much more enjoyable experience than past years. You’re going to have breakdowns on all machines at some point so the way I look at it is you might as well be getting as much done as possible while you’re actually running. Only issue we’ve had is there are some sensors that have given us trouble and some parts case has discontinued so you’ll have to get them from a scrap yard. Not sure it’s like that if you get to a 20 series. Some of the parts are a little pricier than the old machines. I would buy another one in a second. | |
