Central ND | Overly simplified explanation here
4420 - Cummins engine, pre-DEF, designed to run a Raven 440/4400 with conventional spraying, autosteer was an afterthought
4430 - Iveco 9L with DEF, designed around either a Raven Viper pro or a Pro700, AIM Command as a default option, updated hydrostatic system and hydraulic system layout, Raven Slingshot introduced
Early 4440 - Iveco 9L with newer DEF system, primarily the same as the 4430 on release but developed for AIM Command Flex and next generation monitor and steering, autosteer a standard option, CNH starts moving away from Trimble and focusing on Raven systems
Mid-model 4440 - AIM Command Flex with Viper 4 and RS1 or Pro700 with Trimble autosteer, ISO systems introduced, 127' 132' and 135' booms available, Raven Job Sync introduced, Raven VSN steering introduced
Late 4440 - Viper 4+ with RS1 standard option and full ISO control, Pro700 still available for AFS Connect machines, autoboom XRT introduced, RCM control introduced
There were a lot of other changes at different times, but that's the simple version of "big changes" to the machines | |
