Subject: RE: Fixing bent pallet fork

North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast
I thought a fork got bent on my loader tractor and tried to bend it back, never would get close to matching the opposite one. After looking this thing over numerous times, I finally figured out the frame of the forks was tweaked and not the fork.
I got a thick piece of angle wedged behind the frame against the loader arm and the bucket curl pulled it back to level by over bending it. Apparently the forks are stouter than the frame and now I can keep the fork tips level.
I tweak it once or twice a year as needed now. I have to remind myself this is a tractor with forks and not a real forklift.
