Wisconsin | If it were me, Id pick a track machine every time for the jobs you are wanting to do. Stability when lifting pro boxes is night and day when comparing track and tire machines. The track machine is MUCH more stable. Tracks obviously win for doing dirt work and the smoother ride, more stable platform, especially on side hills, and no chance of flat tires while on a brush cutter is a big plus.
We have one wheel machine and one track machine right now, and unless Im on blacktop or rough concrete where turning is harder, I'm going to choose the track machine every time.
Brand is personal preference and what dealer you have in your area. Personally, I have been very happy with the lift capacity, visibility, and reliability of our Deere. Ive heard a lot of good things about the 325G wich is small enough to not use DEF.
You mentioned that the lower HP machines don't use emmisions. Anything under 75 HP doesn't use DEF, but unfortunately they still have other emmisions on them unless you decide to take care of them on your own. | |
