Driftless SW Wisconsin | I've been told to fertilize hay ground after the first cutting however if the ground is firm and there's a good chance of significant rainfall I've done it earlier. Agree with heavy on the K, medium on the P, light on the N with some B and S here. AMS a good choice for the N and S. AMS does lower soil pH so if soils are already low in pH as here use it sparingly.
